Innovations

 
Rotel rotating deck ovens
Designed and manufactured in Australia the Rotel oven has been installed into bakeries for over two decades. Moffat was the first company within the Australasian region to produce a large scale rotating oven for it's local market and has revolutionised bread which was traditionally produced from tin containers. This has provided the opportunity for mass production and the introduction into retail bakeries, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, clubs and government departments. One of our key clients is Bakers Delights and we have customers in more than 20 countries for general purpose or specific dedicated functions.

Genesis automated baking system
Genesis Baking System was the designed in 1998 and is the first baking system in the world to be developed. Identifying the needs within the retail baking industry of the layout and ergonomic safety, the Moffat Genesis Baking System consists of four component machines combined into one automated plant. Designed for a fully automatic system for the hands-free production of a variety of products, the Genesis Baking System takes products from basic ingredients to completion, ready to be proved and baked. A major advantage of this design is the safety guarding that provides safer operation whilst enhancing the appearance and creating a massive saving in operational space.
 
Convection oven platforms
Moffat has been the leader in convection oven platforms since the early 1980s. 1981 saw Moffat Appliances release the first convection oven that required a 13 amp power supply at an event hotel at Hotel Olympia in the United Kingdom. The oven was portable and offered the additional unique features of cook and hold with a grilling element. Nowadays Moffat has brought its technology to the rest of the world with key global chains such as Subway Bake Centre, McDonalds McCafe and many others adopting its convection oven platform.
